I've run a few 5k's, 10k's and one 8k. Those have been in the last few years. I began walking seriously about 5 years ago and did really well, walking almost daily at least 3 or 4 miles and 6 miles once a week.
I have been active my entire life, playing tennis and teaching aerobics when I was younger. But have slowed down the last few months.
Short-Term Running Goals:
I would like to run a couple of 10k's and 5k's the summer of 2012. I want to do these with my family. I would like to run the 5k's in under 32 minutes.
Long-Term Running Goals:
To keep moving, walking and running 5-6 days a week.
Personal:
I'm a mother of 5. Grandmother of 2. Married!!! Acorn is my motivation for joining the blog. All my children are very active. I think we are all (including spouses) hoping to run a 5k together this year.
Went to the running spot this morning, but Susan didn't show, so I went to the grocery store instead!! To dark to run alone. Walked at the Mall last night with Mark 2 miles. I was overdressed. Oh well.
